URGENT. ENDANGERED SPECIES. STOCKWELL PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS. LAMBETH. LONDON.
The threatened waist high railings can be seen fronting the school area pavement kerbside.
A much used school gate is located along this pavement - where its useable width is narrowest .

STOCKWELL PRIMARY SCHOOL that to to my knowledge (having lived locally for over 70 years) have been in-situ for quite a few years now. However an outfit stated on the above
NOTICE to have the monika
RINGWAY JACOBS (wasn't he hung on the
Kennington Common Tyburn site prior to the building of the church opposite the Oval Tube Station?) is working in liaison with
TRANSPORT FOR LONDON. These outfits are bent on removing the railings. No one yet knows in
this particular case quite why and nor does anybody know
why the School authorities were never consulted. This blogger has written urgently to
Lambeth MP Kate Hoey and other local Ward Councillors none of whom judging by their replies had been notified of
this brain dead RINGWAY JACOBS aka TRANSPORT FOR LONDON operation. Wheels are turning now to put a stop to the imminent removal of the said railings which were only ever put there to offer protection for folk using the the primary school premises and especially
very very YOUNG PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS.
KATE HOEY has now certainly made
URGENT noises requesting a stay of execution - quite an appropriate turn of phrase methinks. Various other local interests who are very concerned are also piping up. Scrutinise the
NOTICE photographed above and you will search in vain for outreach information as to whom one should feel free to consult with - in fact the whole tone is severely off hand about dunking on other items of property in the vicinity. Thank you

I reckon it's part of the that whole scheme going on that has removed most of the railings in London - and here's money to be made - no one will notice - let's rip 'em out

Hi well given the offhand uncaring way these Primary School protective railing removals have been put in hand I have certainly mentioned to Kate Hoey MP and wARD Councillor Alex Bigham that maybe the auditing processes for the removals ought usefully to be fully scrutinised. Scrap Metal has been in the news BIG TIME in the past couple of years or so.
